Transatlantic orchestra project 2019: “Barocco!”
The transatlantic orchestra project “Barocco!” in cooperation with the Orchesterzentrum|NRW was all about baroque music: Course members practised Baroque ensemble playing, were taught on Baroque instruments and got to know the culture of the Baroque in Europe through dance and music. After several days of tuition with intensive work in small groups, the different sections were brought together under the direction of Enrico Onofri and augmented by a continuo group to form a large Baroque ensemble. The rehearsals were culminating in a tour with three concerts all over Germany.
