BALTHASAR NEUMANN ENSEMBLES IN AIX-EN-PROVENCE

Last year, the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble was the only international orchestra to visit Aix – a very special experience after the first months marked by the pandemic. With these wonderful memories, we are even more excited to spend a whole month in Aix-en-Provence this summer: As Orchestra-in-Residence, the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble will perform “Le Nozze di Figaro” in Lotte de Beer’s new production. After the premiere on 30 June, seven further performances are scheduled in the unique ambience of the Théâtre de l’Archevêché; the performance on 9 July is broadcasted by ARTE Concert and will be available in the media library:
